What are End Cap Covers for?
End caps are made for uses in which the shaft does not go through the housing wall of the bore. The bearings are shielded by the end cover. The covers include housing bores for rotary shaft seals built into their design. The tolerances are the same as those for a seal's O.D. Nitrile rubber serves as the exterior seal, and carbon steel serves as the interior housing.
As a replacement for an end flange or end cover in a gear box, it is primarily utilized for the orifice, core aperture, and bearing of an oil seal. The rubber layer at the outside diameter ensures that oil leaks into the oil seal seat. Additionally, it enhances the cabinet's beauty and orderliness at the same time.
Advantages:
1. Effective static sealing
2. Accounting for various thermal expansion
3. There is no chance of being exposed to rust.
4. Effective defense against side contamination from the air
5. enables increased steel hole surface roughness
6.placed in the split groove at number six
Standard Applications
Up to 0.05 MPa of pressure
-40°C to 200°C (depending on the substance)
Lubricants made of mineral and synthetic materials (CLP,HLP,APGL,etc)
Standard Applications
Vehicle transmissions, static diesel engines, reduction drives, gearboxes, etc. to seal off optional output points, assembly holes, auxiliary drives, etc.
