NNK O-rings are the most commonly used type of seals and consist of a low friction filled polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) ring combined with an O-ring rubber seal. As long as the groove design and material selection are correct, and the operating conditions are within the temperature range of the rubber material, the seal can play a long-term sealing effect in static sealing or dynamic sealing. The O-ring can provide sufficient sealing preload and compensate for the wear of the PTFE ring. The structure of the sealing part is simple, the installation part is compact, and the weight is light.
The sealing groove has simple structure, small volume and compact installation position.
It can be sealed in both directions and can be used for dynamic and static sealing.
It has self-sealing effect, strong sealing and not easy to leak.
The surface is smooth and the frictional resistance of movement is small. The rubber has good elasticity and strong compression resistance.
